He needed a revamp. For those wondering how he looked like previously, you can find it here. Yes, he did so look like shit back then.
Funny how over the years I've lost my love for detailed work, now preferring simpler character designs so that I can draw them more often without wasting my time focusing on bits and pieces. Simple is best, more is less and I'm really intending to mature the club properly.
I cannot post the complete ref as it includes the new templates for Syrellians Abroad and that one is not being released until the preparations for SA are done. The full info is on the ref, you will get explanations for the musket next to him later.
...I never thought of that, hoooooly cow he can use it as such when everyone's abroad because of the mode of transport. wow ilu for that inspiration. And he has other guns, so why not just offhandedly use one as a walking aid xD
Thanks c: I love this piece of work so much better than the old one.
He looks great! Woah. So much improvement. The only thing I can see to critique is perhaps the shading on the boots--there's a bit extra on the left side of his left boot (or right from his perspective? LEFT ON THE SCREEN. Oh man directions) that makes it feel a little less clear about where the light source is coming from. Coming from the left as it is, I think that the shading there ought to be a little less heavy, at the very least. Otherwise, he's the bomb, his gun looks terrific. Neat job.
Admittedly I'm not sure where the light is coming from, heh, so I wasn't too focused on that exactly. I think I just stopped thinking and started liking shading xD;; I'll work on that next time.

Also, really loving the eyes and horns~
Thanks c: Hope it inspires for Syrellians Abroad, lol.
But, yes, yes it does. And now that I know what direction you mean for the faction fashion...* u *

There's that military historian in me getting carried away again. But I really do love rifled muskets. <3333
